I'm Mark, and I work at a variety of things:

• Window systems: the X Window System, and Trestle,
• Telecollaboration: Argo,
• Competitive algorithms,
• Integer factorization:
• The factorization of the ninth Fermat number (PostScript),
• and the figures (PostScript)
• The number field sieve (PostScript) ,
• MilliCent.
• Technical slides about MilliCent
• Crude calculations supporting the design
• Document similarity -- the talk we presented at the web conference in Santa Clara.

I'm also the bass player for , the only band that really cares. Here's an MPEG-2 encoded song, Chris Killed Your Dog, from our first demo tape. You'll find tons more stuff at the web site.
